It was “Endgame Week” last week as the whole world saw, gasped, laughed and cried at the much-hyped Avengers: Endgame – the movie that serves as the finale of the Infinity Saga – a collective of 22 movies that revolve around the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which kicked off with Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk in 2008.
Social Media was a toxic environment as of late, filled with hate-threatening posts against spoilers and bored, attention-grabbing douches posting the highlights of the movie, spoiling it for those who haven’t seen the movie yet. However, it seems that everyone didn’t have the same negative reaction when they saw the true face of Nebula.
Most casual fans have not realized is the fact that Nebula is played by Karen Gillan, who played Ruby Roundhouse in the Jumanji sequel as well as Amy Pond in the TV Series, Dr. Who.
We were quick to grab some sexy photos of the actress that circulated the web as of late, and lo and behold – the netizens were shocked as most have never realized Nebula is played by such a talented and beautiful actress, add to the fact that she has been playing this role since 2014’s Guardians Of The Galaxy.
When you realize Nebula’s played by a real hot actress 😍😍😍 Karen Gillan is <3Posted by ZAZZ on Saturday, April 27, 2019
As of this writing the post has garnered 14,000+ shares and 1.5K comments, almost all crushing on the former villain. Nebula has been mostly a support character in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as well as in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame but in the comics, she has a prominent role in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline as she was the one who stole it from Thanos and reverted back his changes. Her involvement in the movie is a nod to that.
I can always say Nebula is like the MCU version of Mystique from the Fox X-men movies – a sexy actress playing as a villain-turned hero under blue paint. Although I cant say the same about the Jennifer Lawrence version because everyone knew her already before becoming the younger Mystique. Karen Gillan and Rebecca Romijin weren’t as widely recognized when they took the roles of Nebula and Mystique respectively.
Avengers: Endgame is showing in theaters now.
